Outback Carbon

Kent has been involved in the carbon industry since 2006, having previously been a farmer and grazier for over 35 years in the Midwest region of WA.  Kent was jointly responsible for successfully developing and establishing nearly 12,000 ha of biodiverse revegetation carbon projects from 2008-2018, with the majority of these plantings registered as the first Gold Standard project in Australia certified by the highly regarded Gold Standard Foundation.

Kent is now the General Manager for WA Carbon Projects for Mitsui E&P Australia with a vision to transform rural communities and the environment through the return of carbon capital.  He is currently serving on the RegenWA steering committee and is a founding committee member of AgZero2030.
