Dr Paul Nevill is a molecular ecologist with a strong interest in seed sourcing and seed production areas. He is a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University and has produced over 60 scientific publications in highly ranked journals. His research focuses on the application of molecular approaches to understanding the drivers of adaptively significant genetic variation and its spatial structure to inform decisions regarding seed selection and farming, and the development of a ‘DNA toolbox’ for restoration monitoring.
