Dr. Holly Bradley

Research Fellow

Dr. Holly Bradley is an ecologist with a keen interest in threatened species conservation and management.

Holly has a range of experience, from studying the behavioural ecology of sloths in Costa Rica, to honey possum conservation in Western Australia. Holly completed her PhD in 2022 with the ARC Centre for Mine Site Restoration, which focussed on better understanding the ecology of the endangered western spiny-tailed skink (Egernia stokesii badia) to inform ongoing conservation and translocation management.

Her work has continued in this space, using applied ecological research to help inform management decisions and planning for threatened and culturally significant fauna. Science communication and right-way science are also a key focus of her work, which has included long-term collaboration with Badimia Elders to learn how to bring together Western Science and Traditional Knowledge for improved science outcomes.
