Haylee is a Project Officer working on the Establishment of the Australian Research Council Training Centre for Healing Country. For the past four years she has undertaken a variety of roles at Curtin University, including research, teaching, technical support, research assistance, research support, and research management. Most recently Haylee has worked for the Australian Research Council Centre for Mine Site Restoration (CMSR) as Assistant Manager/Research Scientist.
Previously, Haylee undertook study at Curtin University, completing a PhD in 2017 focussing on the ability of Australian plants to adapt and evolve to climate change, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) on Environmental Biology (2012).
Haylee’s primary interests are the Western Australian flora, the biology, and ecology of plants, plant community responses to disturbance, and ecological restoration.
