Associate Professor Rachel Standish is a vegetation scientist with a broad interest in ecology and its application to ecosystem management. She leads the Ecological Restoration node of the Centre for Terrestrial Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at the Harry Butler Institute Murdoch University. She has written over 100 publications in highly ranked international journals and books. Her research explores biodiversity effects on carbon storage and ecosystem functions to find win-win solutions for the environment and people under the emerging carbon market.
